Pre & Post Treatment Requirements
It is critical ;to be hydrated both before and after ultrasonic fat cavitation, so drink plenty of water. Clients should consume 8 – 12 glasses of water every day on average. Consume a balanced diet with an emphasis on fresh fruits, vegetables, and meat. Clients may suffer nausea in the early phases of treatment as toxins are moved around the body. Smoking is not permitted. If our client does, please make sure that they increase the duration before their next cigarette following treatment. On the day of treatment, no medications, narcotics, or alcohol should be consumed. It is critical that our clients are honest with us about their drugs.
Please keep in mind that it is critical for clients to get their individual heart rates up by exercising within 4 – 6 hours of fat cavitation and RF treatments in order to use up energy and prevent fats from resettling in their system.
No heating treatments such as laser or pulsed light treatments, are permitted on the day of treatment.
As our clients continue with their treatments, they need to keep us informed of any changes in their health, new drugs, or reactions.
Fat Cavitation Ultrasound and RF can and should be used in conjunction in a program.
Make sure that you are well-hydrated before and after your Fat Cavitation Ultrasound treatment.
Risks & Contradictions
- We start with a low setting and gradually increase it throughout the treatment. If you begin to feel ill, let us know immediately. The device’s application should never be painful or leave marks. If this occurs, we stop treatment. Very rarely patients may experience redness or small bruising. If this happens, please use arnica, drink water and the second treatment will not be done until the bruising goes away. The device is moved slowly over the treatment area. This treatment cannot be performed on anyone under 18.
- If you have a fever, inflammation (acne, eczema, herpes,) warts, open or recently stitched wounds, dangerous and progressive illnesses (cancer, AIDS, hepatitis, blood diseases, etc.), or blood coagulation difficulties, we will not provide treatment. If you have or had phlebitis, bad vein surgery within the last two months, varicose veins or tingling in your limbs or any other concerns, please consult a physician before booking a treatment.
- We cannot perform treatments on pregnant women.
- Menstruating women should not have treatment on their abdomens.
- No treatments is provided inside the mouth, on any mucous membrane, on nipples, or moles.
- No treatment can be provided to persons with epilepsy or with mental ailments.
- If you are on long-term therapy with pharmaceuticals such as anti-inflammatories, anticoagulants or antibiotics OR if your skin bruises easily or has broken capillaries, consult your doctor before treatment.
- Treatment cannot be provided on any body parts with jewelry, metal implants, or piercings. All jewelry and metallic objects must be removed before treatment
Cancellation Policy
Because our clients mean so much to us, we always try to honour your time and schedule by being available and punctual with your appointments.
In return, we would be ever so grateful if you could do the same! With the help of our 48 hour reminder system, we ask that any changes be made to your appointments within 24 hours of the scheduled time.
Any changes after the 24 hour mark may result in a $25 rescheduling fee that will be attached onto your next scheduled appointment.
In the event that we can fill your time slot last minute, your rescheduling fee will be waived.
NO SHOWS will result in a 100% service charge and will need to be paid in full via e-transfer before booking another appointment.
