Cosmetic Teeth Whitening
Pre-Treatment Instructions
Please allow 48 hours before whitening after a dental cleaning.
Do not brush or floss for 6 hours before treatment. Aggressive brushing and flossing leads to swelling of the gums which can lead to tissue burning and damage during the treatment.
Any oral surgery must have a minimum of 8 weeks healing before a whitening appointment. If diabetic, please bring a snack for directly after your treatment or eat before your appointment.
If nursing, please do so as close to your appointment time as possible.
We suggest bringing music and headphones to your appointment. Thee is no talking allowed during the appointment. Please make sure to leave your conversations for after your treatment.
Please advise your beautiful bright smile provider if you have any areas of concern.
Post-Treatment Care
The pores of your enamel need time to heal and close post teeth whitening. This takes up to 12 hours. During this critical time, it is important to follow our guidelines.
Avoid spicy, sweet, sour or citrus foods or drinks for 12 hours.
Avoid foods and drinks with heavy colours for 24 hours. For example, red wine, black coffee, dark sauces, orange soft drinks, colas, etc.
Avoid smoking or vaping for 12 hours.
Please use a straw if you do consume any heavily coloured drinks in that time period.
Do not brush your enamel for at least 8 hours post-whitening. Your dehydrated enamel will be more aware of the bristles of the toothbrush.
We recommend a salt water rinse or gently dabbing our Vita Shine Tooth Gloss on your enamel with your fingertip or a bamboo soft toothbrush.
No mouthwash for 12 hours.
If any genetic markings become pronounced during the treatment please be aware that they will fade and return to normal within 24 hours.

Cancellation Policy
Because our clients mean so much to us, we always try to honour your time and schedule by being available and punctual with your appointments.
In return, we would be ever so grateful if you could do the same! With the help of our 48 hour reminder system, we ask that any changes be made to your appointments within 24 hours of the scheduled time.
Any changes after the 24 hour mark may result in a $25 rescheduling fee that will be attached onto your next scheduled appointment.
In the event that we can fill your time slot last minute, your rescheduling fee will be waived.
NO SHOWS will result in a 100% service charge and will need to be paid in full via e-transfer before booking another appointment.
